In 2022, local businessman Greg Dore, along with his wife Paula and their sons, purchased the Heritage
House Restaurant with the intention of preserving the establishment’s beloved traditions. With a commitment
to maintaining the same cozy fine dining atmosphere hat patrons have come to know and love, Greg has ensured
that Chef Cindy Jo Chase remains at the helm of the kitchen, tantalizing diners with her expertly presented
dishes and mouth-watering flavors. Greg is no stranger to the Skowhegan food scene, as he also owns the Old
Mill Pub, which is renowned for its delicious pub fare and stunning riverside seating. In keeping with his
farm-to-table philosophy, Greg sources his ingredients from local suppliers whenever possible, supporting other
entrepreneurs in the community and ensuring that the restaurant continues to provide an authentic taste
of Maine.
